You can be assured that we take all necessary security measures in the preparation and shipping of your orders.
Our kitchens are regularly sanitized.
The temperature of each staff member is taken daily on arrival.
All staff are following government guidelines in not attending work if they are unwell in any way, and in particular know not to come to work if they have been in contact with someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19
Terms & Conditions
Jacaranda Catering was established to provide nutritious, high qualify meals delivered to customers’ doors. We reserve the right to make any changes to the menus at our discretion. In addition, we reserve the right to refuse orders from customers at our discretion.
All Jacaranda Catering meals are prepared and cooked in the same kitchen. We use a number of ingredients in our kitchen and while we do our best to ensure there is no cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee a total absence of any ingredient. If you have any concerns about the meals or the service we provide, please let us know and we shall be happy to discuss these with you.
We accept Visa & Master Card. Your card will be charged in advance for the full value of the total order. Your order is only confirmed when you receive both an order confirmation and a payment confirmation. We reserve the right to amend or refuse the sale, if the payment is not received prior to delivery day. Please note that prices may alter, and that we reserve the right to change prices without prior notice. Your credit card number will not be stored once payment has been successful unless you elect this option.
If you require us to access secure parts of your home or building in order to deliver Jacaranda Catering meals, please notify us of this at the time of placing your order. Please keep us up to date with any changes that might affect our ability to deliver to you. If we cannot access your building because of changes that we have not been notified of, we will attempt to contact you to make other arrangements. If we are unable to deliver in such circumstances, we reserve the right to charge you for unsuccessful delivery in any event.
Time for delivery shall not be the essence of our contract. Due to circumstances beyond control, sometimes our drivers / couriers experience unavoidable delays. In these circumstances we respectfully request that you allow until 6pm for the delivery to occur. In the event that delivery still has not been made or attempted by the following day, we will either dispatch the goods again free of charge or make a full refund. We shall not be liable for any non-delivery, even if it is our fault, unless you notify us by telephone by within 24 hours of scheduled delivery. Any liability for non-delivery within 24 hours shall be limited to replacing your order within a reasonable time or issuing a credit note to you.
Jacaranda Catering accepts no liability for the loss or deterioration of any goods once they have been delivered in accordance with the Customer delivery instructions and our terms and conditions. Jacaranda Catering will not be held liable for any financial or physical damages of any kind. Jacaranda Catering reserves the right to change or alter delivery days and cut off periods without notice.
Our products are delivered with special care in maintaining temperature control. It is our requirement that the customer be home to accept delivery. Frozen and chilled products should be put in freezers and refrigerators respectively upon receipt. Cooking and re-heating instructions must be followed closely. Make sure that re-heated food is piping hot throughout.
Jacaranda Catering Guarantee
It is our intention to give total customer satisfaction through the goods and services we offer. Jacaranda Catering meals should reach you in perfect condition. If you have reason to suspect that a product is somehow damaged, unfit for human consumption or is incomplete or has not been delivered, please contact us immediately. We shall endeavour to replace the items or give you an appropriate refund where possible. If you do not let us know within 24 hours of delivery, we may not be able to refund the item or replace it and you will be deemed as having accepted your Jacaranda Catering order for that day, unless we agree otherwise. Please note we are unable to accept returns as we are governed by HACCP system and procedures.
Theft or suspected theft of your Jacaranda Catering order from the delivery address shall not be deemed as the fault of either the courier or Jacaranda Catering Pty Limited. Jacaranda Catering accepts no liability for the loss or deterioration of any goods once they have been delivered and will not be held liable for any financial or physical damages of any kind. Please let us know immediately if you have reason to suspect that your delivery has been stolen from the delivery address. We shall liaise with you to make alternative arrangements if there is a risk that the theft will happen again, which may mean making alternative delivery arrangements. In the meantime, we reserve the right to suspend your deliveries until new arrangements have been finalised or to cancel the remaining deliveries provided that we refund to you the fees for the cancelled period.
Warranties and Liability
We shall not be liable by reason of any misrepresentation (unless fraudulent) or any breach of warranty, condition or other term (express or implied) or any breach of duty or negligence for any damages whatsoever.
Use of the Website and our Publications
Unauthorised duplication or publication of any materials from our website is prohibited. Unauthorised duplication or publication of any other materials including but not limited to, brochures, text, graphics, recipes, newsletters, the selection and arrangement thereof, and all software compilations, underlying source code and software (our “publications”) is prohibited.
As a use of the publications, you may retrieve and display content from the site on a computer screen and print out individual pages from the site on paper for the sole purpose of placing an order with us or using information from the Publications in the consumption of our products, but copying, modifying, or transmitting for any other purpose is strictly prohibited except with prior written permission from us. You may not commercially exploit any of the content of the Publications. You acknowledge that Jacaranda Catering is our trade mark and that you may not use the name.
We shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform any of our obligations under these terms and conditions due to any cause beyond our reasonable control, including industrial action. These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and us and supersede any previous agreement or understanding and may not be varied except in writing between us. All other terms and conditions express or implied by statute or otherwise, are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law. The waiver by us of any breach or default of these conditions shall not be construed as a continued waiver of that breach, nor as a waiver of any subsequent breach of the same or any other provision. If any provision of these conditions is held by any competent authority to be invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part, the validity of the other provisions of these conditions and the remainder of the provision in question shall not be affected.

How we collect the information
We may collect personal information about you when you deal with us over the telephone, send us correspondence (whether by letter, fax or email), visit our website or when you have contact with us in person (including agents or contractors to Jacaranda Catering such as delivery drivers). At no time does Jacaranda Catering collect any information from our customers other than that information that our customers voluntarily give us.

We may disclose relevant personal information to third parties when necessary. For example, your delivery details will be shared with our contracted delivery drivers. Other than for the above, we will not disclose or share your personally identifiable information to any third parties for marketing or any other purpose without your prior consent, unless required by law.

You may request at any time to have your personal information updated if you no longer wish to receive some or all of the communications we may send to our customers such as newsletters, product information and specials. Online information: Cookies & IP Address
When you click something on our website, you give us the address of your computer (the IP address) so our website can deliver the new page to you. We do log which pages are displayed to which IP addresses so we can tell what pages on our site are used as part of a visit, and so we can troubleshoot problems. There is no personal identifiable information collected in our log files. We do not automatically log personal data nor do we link information automatically logged by other means with personal data about specific individuals while you are merely viewing our website.
If you place an order online using a credit card, we specifically record your IP address with the use of the credit card as part of our fraud prevention measures.
We store your personal information in different ways, including on paper and in electronic form. The security of your personal information is important. We take every reasonable measure to ensure that your personal information is stored safely to protect it from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure, including electronic and physical security measures. The Jacaranda Catering web site takes every precaution possible to protect your personally identifiable information. This includes the use of Firewalls and when purchasing from Jacaranda Catering your financial details are passed through a secure server using the industry standard SSL (secure sockets layer) encryption technology.
